It will be a while before we get to it, though, because Rick is busy with lots of projects for Marvel (and Archie!) and has to finish the second GRAVEDIGGER graphic novel (which *is* "widescreen") first.

Like I said – I'm a big fan of DIABOLIK (and would love to get my hands on some of the fumetti or tapes of the animated series), but I haven't actually seen any of the other flicks in the subgenre. Just lots of intriguing stills. I'm really enjoying these reviews, and plan on tracking down more of the films.Christopher Millshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15978811373546110421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36879283.post-2647039879156229932009-03-08T23:56:00.000-07:002009-03-08T23:56:00.000-07:00Thanks, Christopher! Will you guys do it in the "widescreen" style you used for Gravedigger? Burchett's great. Thanks for sharing!

Also looking forward to your Eurocriminal character, Armstrong. I'm glad there are so many fans of the genre!Tannerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03910873055922510145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36879283.post-58050879447264940132009-03-08T03:57:00.000-07:002009-03-08T03:57:00.000-07:00Skorpion! Burchett is one of the all-time greats.

I'm also planning to eventually have a Eurocriminal character eventually show up in Mister 8, though it may be awhile. I'm still streamlining this storytelling process and think I need to figure out how to speed things up.

Great review, Tanner!Armstrong Sabianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10393682335026531768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36879283.post-9176527988015700352009-03-07T23:15:00.000-08:002009-03-07T23:15:00.000-08:00Fantastic review of a fantastic movie. DIABOLIK is one of my all-time favorite films, too.

I'm loving "Masked Adventurers Week;" you may be interested to know that artist Rick Burchett and I are developing a comics property along these lines for next year. The working title is "SKORPION," and DIABOLIK and other Eurospy films were the prime inspiration.Christopher Millshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15978811373546110421noreply@blogger.com
