Screen Archives Entertainment is now offering Ennio Morricone's 1967 Eurospy score Matchless on CD in its entirety for the first time on the Legend label. (Shorter versions have been available in the past.) This soundtrack includes all the music composed for the film by Ennio Morricone as well as the electronic tracks by Gino Marinuzzi Jr. There's also a deluxe 16-page booklet filled with "rare archive photos and text in English and Italian." This Italian import is limited to 1000 units and runs $21.95 on the SAE website. Matchless (also known as Mission Top Secret) is one of the Eurospy subgenre about invisible secret agents, and includes every gag you'd expect in such a movie. Patrick O'Neal is the irritating lead, but Donald Pleasence makes up for that as the villain. The rare film itself is available to view from Netflix's streaming service.
