New Alex Rider Short Story Available Online

Bish's Beat points the way to a new, exclusive Alex Rider short story by Anthony Horowitz! "Incident in Nice" is available at the TimesOnline website here. It was published a few weeks ago to promote the newest novel, Crocodile Tears, which I reviewed here. This is the third Alex Rider short story. Horowitz produced two previous stories, both of which are also available online, one via The Daily Mail and the other on Horowitz’s official website (though you have to register to access it). The former is a Christmas story that serves as a prequel to the entire Alex Rider series; the latter takes place between Alex’s third and fourth adventures. All of these stories serve as good primers for potential readers to get a taste of Alex Rider without digging into an entire book (although the books are lightning fast reads). While the combined length of all three stories so far is far too brief to warrant a collection, let's hope that Horowitz eventually produces enough short stories to fill out such a volume. It would be great to have them all in book form.

Please horowitz no more short stories because yuo never promote them and you make them hard to find and/or get so unless you plan to publish them all some time soon ddo not do anymore. I like them all and dono't want to miss anything of Alex Rider!

There is also ALEX UNDERGROUND posted in NEWS OF THE NATION SUmmer reading special Aug 3, 2008.

Also RESISTANCE TO INTERROGATION, a stormbreaker insert

What else will Horowitz make us track down? I am insulted by the lack of promotion for these short stories and that they are so hard to get.

How do you get Alex underground then?

Thanks, guys! I didn't know about these stories. A little digging turned up "Alex Underground" here(scroll down) on Anthony Horowitz's forums, and "Resistance to Interrogation" here.

Do any of you know if you can download stormbreker, point blanc and skeleton key the graphic novels?

The first graphic novel, Stormbreaker, is available to download for Kindle on Amazon. The others aren't, but all three are available to order in book form on both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk--and I highly recommend buying them in book format! These are great, fun adaptations that you'll want to hold in your hands to enjoy.

Horowitz and the publishers have done it again: another Alex Rider story came out in March 2012 on World Book Day. A TASTE OF DEATH and you can only get it on APP and if you live in the UK. F them. If anyone gets it post it on line
