Double O Section on the Air: Two New Podcasts

Things may be silent in our written reports lately, but I am still active in SIGINT! Longtime readers may want to intercept two new podcasts I've guested on.

Last week I joined hosts Scott and Cam on their excellent SpyHards Podcast. For my third time on their show, we discussed one of my favorite Sixties UK spy movies, Ralph Thomas' Hot Enough For June, aka Agent 8 3/4 (1964), starring two of my favorite actors of the era, Dirk Bogarde (Sebastian, Modesty Blaise) and Sylva Koscina (Deadlier Than the Male, That Man in Istanbul) alongside a roster of great Sixties supporting players like Leo McKern (The Prisoner), Richard Vernon (Goldfinger), Eric Pohlmann (From Russia With Love), John Le Mesurier (Where the Spies Are), Noel Harrison (The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.), and Roger Delgado (The Persuaders!, Doctor Who).

Watch on YouTube, listen on Acast or your favorite podcast app.

And in the coming weeks, I can also be heard (once again) on Jeff Quest's Barbican Station podcast, discussing what we can expect from the upcoming season of Apple's Slow Horses. More on that in due course! (In the meantime, why not catch up on some of my numerous past appearances there?)

Read my review of Ralph Thomas's other big Sylva Koscina spy movie, Deadlier Than the Male, here.
